Website privacy policy
What this website collects, and what happens when you book, call, or email.
The short version
This site is informational. It has no user accounts, no contact forms, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking scripts, and it sets no cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site directly — no third-party font or ad networks. Reading it sends us nothing about you.
Your health information as a patient is a separate matter, protected by law and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
What the site stores on your device
If you switch the site to its dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it persists between visits. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed if you clear your browser data.
Hosting logs
Like nearly every website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, and pages requested — for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
Online booking
“Schedule a Visit” buttons stay on this site; they lead to our scheduling page, which collects nothing. The “Book online” link there — offered to returning patients — leaves the site for our scheduling system, hosted by Jane (jane.app). Information you enter there becomes part of your record with the practice — covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices — and is processed by Jane under its own privacy policy, available on its site.
The map
The contact page embeds a Google Map so you can find the office. Loading that page requests the map from Google, which may collect data as described in Google’s privacy policy.
Calling or emailing
If you call or email the office, we use what you share to respond and to schedule care. Email is convenient but not a secure channel for detailed health information — for anything sensitive, call (608) 301-5641 instead.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through it.
Changes
If our practices change — for example, if we ever add analytics — this page will be updated first, with a new effective date.
